Landscaper, installer and delivery man
Eric Lake is our in house landscaper. Eric is Hidden Ponds owners, Phil and Sally's, nephew. He he was the foreman for our landscaping sister company for over a decade and now started his own landscaping company, Lakes Lawns. Eric specializes in everything from mowing, edging, trimming, irrigation, laying mulch and pine straw to installing entire yards! Eric does all of Hidden Ponds deliveries and installations, he is simply the best!
DELIVERY
Where?
We deliver to Mount Pleasant, Sullivans Island, Isle of Palms, Awendaw, McClellanville, Huger and Daniel Island
What do can you deliver?
We deliver any plants, pottery or soil that were purchased at HPN.
Who do you deliver to?
We deliver to any of our customers!
How does it work?
Customers can purchase their items in person or over the phone and Eric with the help of his crew will drop your belongings off in your driveway. We'll deliver whether it's a bulk sale or just one plant
Time frame
We do deliveries every week and usually multiple times a week. The time frame is about a week but could be sooner depending on where Eric is working throughout the week
Price
Our delivery fee for retail customers is $65 per trip to your house. Eric uses his large dump truck and trailer for deliveries so most of the time it will only be a one time fee
INSTALLATION
How to start an install through HPN:
Customers can come into the nursery and pick out their plants. Eric will install large 30 gallon trees all the way to small 1 gallon flowers. The nursery staff will pull your plants, put them into an irrigated holding area, get you set up with paperwork, flags to place where you want your plants and get your payment.
Pricing:
HPN charges a 50% labor fee for Lakes Lawns to install as well as any soil amendments Eric will need to bring. Soil amendments include topsoil and compost, possibly gypsum from those in north Mt. Pleasant. Here is an example of a breakdown of our equation-
1 x 30 gal Ligustrum = $215 ............................. 215
2 bags of topsoil = $10 ea. ............................ 20
2 bags of compost = $10 ea. ............................ + 20

Total of the plant and soil cost = $255
We now multiply the $255 by 50% for a labor fee and round up or down to the nearest whole number. The labor fee for this example would be $126
Now, lets add everything together:
1 x 30 gal Ligustrum = $215 ............................. 215
2 bags of topsoil = $10 ea. ............................ 20
2 bags of compost = $10 ea. ............................ 20
Labor fee = $126 ............................ + 126
Grand total of installation = $381 (w/o tax)
How long does it take until I get my plants?
It usually takes around one week before you get your plants installed. Now you wait!
